17 May 2019  -  Longridge Wine Estate

Longridge Wine Estate, a leading estate in organic winemaking, will host a 15-part series of talks by survivors and those treating survivors on how to prevent, survive and thrive after cancer. The series, named “Let’s Talk About Cancer”, will provide real testimonies of insight and hope in this often confusing and scary topic.

Dr Janey Little, renowned holistic cancer consultant, international speaker and author of Cancer ... You Can Heal Yourself, will co-host interactive talks alongside 10 cancer survivors and a handful of experts at the estate over 15 Monday nights. Dr Janey is known for her mission in helping to shift the pervasive fear and misinformation that is perpetuating the epidemic of cancer while working to empower individuals to harness their own innate healing capacity to survive and thrive.

Dr Janey also has a background in conventional veterinary medicine and is founder of the program, Cancer - Unleashing the Self-Healing Genius Within You! Together with her small, yet dedicated team Dr Janey conducts talks, workshops, online programs and private consultations with cancer patients around the world.

Dr Janey is of the belief that in order to begin altering the escalating incidence of cancer diagnoses and the treatment results for cancer patients and their families, we need to start shifting our entire understanding and approach to cancer.

The first talk commenced on Monday 13 May and were combined with a creative and delicious “Longridge Live Well” meal designed every week by resident chef Maritz Jacobs.

Our hope is that people will walk away each night empowered by what they have  learned.”

She added: “People can come for the talk on its own or pair it with the Live Well dinner either before or after. Each dinner is carefully designed by Maritz in consultation with Dr Janey to be reflective of the principals that participants will learn at the three talks that focus on cancer healing and food.”

Tickets are available at the restaurant at Longridge Wine Estate for R50 per person, R200 for a 5-talk voucher and pensioners can join for free.
