“We need the tonic of wildness…At the same time that we are earnest to explore and learn all things, we require that all things be mysterious and unexplorable, that land and sea be indefinitely wild, unsurveyed and unfathomed by us because unfathomable. We can never have enough of nature.”

– Henry David Thoreau

The exhibition “Days of being wild” opened to the public on Sunday, 29 May and will continue to run during the winter months of 2022 at the Cavalli Estate Gallery. The themes explored are motivated by nature and our pre-sentiment of the winter months. From untamed wildernesses to lonely landscapes, both figurative and literal. Participating artists were encouraged to explore their own personal perception and application pertaining to the “unfathomable wild”. The selection will include figurative, abstract, landscape and conceptual work. The exhibition will run until 04 September 2022.
