Derived from ‘De Bange Hoek’ meaning ‘Scary Corner’, the Banghoek Valley is imbued with the spirit of the early pioneers who braved the heights of this mountainous pass to face what lay beyond: a valley inhabited by resident elephants, buffalo, lions and leopards. The audacious spirit of our fore-bearers gave seed to a region rich in viniculture that produces the finest Chardonnay and Cabernet in the country.

Join us for an oenological exploration of the Banghoek Valley and its terroir as we showcase the regions defining traits. The evening starts with a walk around tasting featuring 8 prominent producers from the Banghoek Valley followed by a six course dinner at Delaire Graff Restaurant paired with the best wines the Banghoek has to offer.
