Emerging from behind the smoke and mirrors we are proud to introduce to you the latest addition to our Signature Collection, the Peter Falke Signature Kailani Cabernet Sauvignon 2017.

With a production run of just 2 153 bottles, the Signature Kailani Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 is our most exclusive offering to date. Having been awarded Platinum and a score of 97 points at the 2021 Decanter World Wine Awards, a Double Gold at the 2020 Michelangelo International Wine Awards, and 93 points in the Winemag's 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Report, this superb red wine is the ultimate offering for those looking to stock their cellars with only the world's finest vintages.

Winemaker's Notes
The Peter Falke Signature Kailani Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 has been carefully crafted using hand-picked grapes of only the most premium quality, which are sorted through twice by hand in order to ensure that all sunburnt berries are left on the vines. After being left uncrushed and on the skins to ferment, the grapes are then cold-soaked for one day at 15°C. The wine is then exposed to regular punch-downs and pump-overs for a period of 21 days, developing our signature silky smooth tannins in the process. Once completed, the final product is lightly pressed and matured in French Oak barrels for 18 months, with twenty percent going into the 1st fill and the rest into the 2nd and 3rd.
Tasting Notes
On the nose, our Signature Kailani Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 packs a bouquet consisting of rich dark purple hues and exquisite aromas of raspberry, which are complemented by underlying tones of blackcurrant and spanish cedar. On the palate, one will find notes of red fruits and densely smooth tannins culminating in a beautiful lingering finish.
Serving and Pairing Suggestions
We recommend serving this strikingly bold Cabernet Sauvignon at a temperature of between 16-18 °C, ideally pairing it with a slightly fattier cut of steak, such as a ribeye or sirloin, cooked rare to medium rare. We also found this wine to pair extremely well with a rosemary-pepper beef fillet or sticky barbecued ribs.
