Annandale Wine Estate Claimed

Average Reviews

Description

Annandale Wine Estate is most likely the oldest wine farm in the Helderberg district. Established in 1688, large parts of the tasting room pre-dates the 1700’s. Winemaker and old Sprinbok rugby player, Hempies du Toit, brings with him generations of winemaking experience, and he learned the art from his father at Alto wine estate. His philosophy is one of simplicity, honesty and patience. “Great things cannot be rushed.”

Activities to enjoy on the farm includes wine tasting, cheese and charcuterie platters, braai experiences, horse riding with tasting, and enjoying the wholesome produce and offerings of Familiér deli in the Annandale manor house.
