GRANGEHURST is a family owned boutique red wine cellar, situated on the slopes of the Helderberg Mountain between Stellenbosch and Somerset West

(Eikendal road, off the R44).

This family business began in 1992 and specialises in the production of handcrafted red wines and a dry rosé. All wines are made using traditional and sustainable winemaking practices.

A hands-on approach, years of experience, and uncompromising attention to detail ensure that only the highest quality wines are bottled under the Grangehurst label.

Our winemaker, Jeremy Walker, sources the finest grapes from the Stellenbosch and Helderberg regions and strives for every vintage to be made the age old way – using methods that are handcrafted, traditional, and unhurried.

Tasting Room Details & Offerings

Our tasting room is the perfect place to pair cellar matured wines with majestic views of Table Mountain, Cape Point and surrounds.

Some of the wines that can be enjoyed are GRANGEHURST’s Pinotage 2012, Nikela 2011, Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2009, Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 (Reserve) and the Grangehurst 2012 (flagship).

All tastings include a complimentary Tasting platters made up of crackers, olives and dried fruit, plus a bottle of complimentary Still water.
