4. (Free) Bike Park Entrance

Bring the kids to Blaauwklippen’s Bike Park, where they can enjoy a giant jungle gym, a Velosolution Pump Track, and a cycle track. From 9-11am, Monday to Friday, entrance to the Bike Park is free, making it a great way to spend a morning. Additionally, special birthday party packages are available at a discounted rate of R100 per child, including a kiddies party pack and entry. The party pack includes a fruit juice box, toasted cheese sandwich, Smarties, packet of soft sweets, packet of crisps, dried fruit, and a Rice Crispy square. 6. Blouklip (Wine) Trail

Experience the great outdoors with the Blouklip Trail, an approximately 8km scenic route that winds through winelands and natural habitats at the foot of Stellenbosch Mountain. The trail offers unforgettable opportunities to explore the area’s flavours, sounds, and vistas. An experienced guide will lead you through vineyards, orchards, and Fynbos, with stops at Dornier’s tasting area and Stellenzicht Wine Pod for exquisite pairings.

The journey begins at the historic Blaauwklippen estate and takes you through beautiful landscapes to Dornier, where you can enjoy their famed bagels and exceptional wines. A short walk will then bring you to Stellenzicht Wine Pod for a delightful wine and chocolate pairing. The tour concludes with a tractor and wagon ride back to Blaauwklippen for a final wine and food pairing, ensuring a memorable and comprehensive wine-tasting experience.

Tours run every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings at 08:00. Pre-bookings are required, closing 24 hours before the tour.
